When you come to Impact, our goal is to make you feel welcome and at home.  As you approach the YMCA, you’ll see signs that indicate we have special parking for guests.  When you arrive in the parking lot, we’ll guide you into a  spot that's up close, and designated for guests.  Our parking lot attendants can help you with questions or any special need you might have.

As you approach the entrance to the YMCA, we’ll greet you and help you get where you’re going.  If you have a child, we'll help you get them settled in before showing you to the worship center.  Please check out our Impact Kids page to see what we offer for our children.  We have a fellowship time before service starts, if you'd like to have some breakfast and coffee.  Our Worship Gathering will start at 10:27 am.  We’ll make sure you feel right at home.

Here are a few things you may be wondering about:

What denomination is Impact Community Church?

We’re a Southern Baptist Church.  When Impact formed, a core part of our vision was to be dedicated to the Biblical foundations of life as Jesus’ church, and partner with other churches to bring help and hope to the world. We knew right away that affiliating with the Southern Baptist Convention would help accomplish both of those things.  We are proud to give and serve with other believers who share our dedication to Jesus and His work.

What style of preaching can I expect?

Bible-based, relevant, practical and easy to understand.  Our pastor teaches God’s word in a conversational manner, using real life applications to speak life into real situations.

What is available for my child?

  • There is a Nursery and Children's Church for children ages birth through 5th grade provided during worship service for your convenience.

  • Impact Kids Preschool -5th grade meet on Sunday nights 6:00-7:30 at the YMCA for their purpose group which includes music time, a bible time, snack, crafts and games .

  • 6th-12th graders meet for Impact Students on Sunday evenings at 6:00 at the YMCA.  We also have a bible study for 6th - 12th grades that goes deeper into the bible that meets on Wednesday nights. For more information, please see the Purpose Groups page.

What do you have for adults?

We have a full range of opportunities for adults at all stages of life to meet together on Sundays and throughout the week. These groups meet to socialize, study God’s word, pray and serve together — we call them Purpose Groups.  Click on the Purpose Groups tab under LOVE on this website for a full listing of groups and contact information.

What style of music do you play?

Our worship services offer a wide range of music.  Mostly contemporary-style (Hillsong United, Chris Tomlin, etc.), but we love traditional hymns, too.  Our goal each week is to create a dynamic worship experience that connects with the needs of people and communicates an inspiring message. We have a full-band each week and from time to time we have a choir for special events!

What should I wear?

We have a comfortable environment and welcome everyone to come as they are. On Sundays you'll find most men and women dressed very casually.  While some may be fully dressed up, you'll also find many in shorts and tee shirts. Whatever you're wearing, we'll be glad to see you!
